About Loopio

Loopio Inc., together with Loopio UK Ltd. and Loopio India Software Private Limited (previously Avnio Ltd.), and all other affiliates and subsidiaries (collectively “Loopio”) is a group of privately held companies that provides a software as a service (SaaS) platform that assists companies in curating, reviewing, maintaining and accessing a library of content for responding to requests for proposals (RFPs), request for information (RFIs), due diligence questionnaires (DDQs), and security questionnaires (SQs).

Governance

Loopio is committed to improving transparency into our practices to combat slavery and human trafficking in our business and supply chain. This Modern Slavery Policy (this “Policy”) is made pursuant to the Modern Slavery Act 2018 (Canada) and the Modern Slavery Act 2015 (UK). This Policy constitutes Loopio’s slavery and human trafficking statement for the financial year ending January 31, 2024, and will continue to apply until amended.

Loopio has a zero tolerance to slavery and human trafficking including forced and child labour. To ensure all those in our supply chain and contractors comply with our values and ethics, we have a dedicated team to monitor and enforce compliance with this Policy, which consists of representatives from the following departments:

  • Legal
  • People Operations
  • Finance
  • Information Security
  • Procurement

Our approach to modern slavery is facilitated by a top-down mandate. This Policy has been reviewed and approved by Loopio’s Risk and Audit Board Committee and supported by Loopio’s Senior Leadership Team.

Scope

This Policy reflects our commitment to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure slavery and human trafficking is not taking place anywhere in our supply chains. As a remote-first organization, our supply chain is mostly limited to procuring software services; however, we work with a network of suppliers across various countries and are committed to ensuring that these suppliers uphold the same standards of ethics and integrity that we do.

Loopio takes an active approach to its corporate responsibility. For example, at the point of recruitment, appropriate checks, in accordance with relevant laws, are carried out on prospective employees and our People Team works closely with the relevant teams in the local territories to make sure that minimum eligible age of employment, compensation, holidays, pay and conditions are appropriately managed and compliant with legal and societal norms in the various jurisdictions that Loopio operates in around the world.

Further, we have the following policies and practices in place that underpin our commitment to ensure that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in any part of our business:

  • Employee Policy Handbook and Code of Conduct
  • Employee Background and Identity Verification Check Policy
  • Anti-Bribery & Anti-Corruption Policy
  • Human Rights Policy
  • Whistleblower Policy
  • Purchasing Policy
  • Vendor Management Policy and Standards
  • Environmental, Social and Governance Policy
  • Supplier Code of Conduct

We continuously review and update each of the foregoing policies to ensure our continued compliance with applicable laws.

Supply Chain Due Diligence & Management

Loopio has in place a formal Purchasing Policy to monitor our use of suppliers and mitigate the risks of modern slavery within our operations and supply chain. This includs requiring applicable suppliers have (i) taken reasonable steps to ensure there are no violations of modern slavery, or forced child labour in vendor’s operations or supply chains and (ii) not engaged in any act of bribery, corrupt or fraudulent practice in connection with and whilst providing the goods and/or services to Loopio, and (ii) maintained records evidencing compliance with the foregoing, such as in a ‘code of conduct’ or similar document.

To date, Loopio has not had any identified instances of modern slavery or human trafficking within our supply chain operations or that of our partners.

Our Ongoing Commitment

Loopio’s efforts to combat the issue of modern slavery and human trafficking will continue to be ongoing, evolving, and continually improving. Loopio will continue to review its human rights efforts, as well as best practices in the marketplace, to understand how it can further strengthen our commitments under this Policy.

Changes to this Policy

We reserve the right to update this Policy at any time to reflect changes to our internal practices. The revised Policy will be posted on this website. We strongly encourage you to refer to this Policy often for the latest information about our practices.
